Q : Where is Suvarnabhumi Airport,
and how do I get there ?
A: Suvarnabhumi Airport is located on Bangna-Trat
Highway in Bangphi District. It is about 25 km east of Bangkok
city center, and has 5 access routes:

the north via Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway,
which directly connects to the passenger terminal.

From
the south via Bangna-Trat Highway and
Buraphavithi Expressway.

From
the northwest via Rom Khlao Road and King
Kaew Flyover.

From
the northeast via On Nut Road.

From
the west via King Kaew Road.
Q: How much time should I
allow for check-in ?
A: It is recommended that you arrive at
least two hours prior to departure time for any international
flight, three hours for flights to New York and t os Angeles,
and 90 minutes for any domestic flight. Please also note
that:

International check-in counters will be closed 40 minutes, before departure
time .

Domestic check-in counters will be closed 30 minutes before departure
time.
Q: Where
are the THAI check-in counters for international flights ?
A: All departing international passengers
should enter Level 4 as check-in counters are located there.
- Royal
First Class and Royal
Silk Class passengers should enter Entrance
1 for check-in at Rows A-B.
- Royal
First Class passengers will be provided
porter service from curbside, and escorted to the Royal
First Check-in lounge,. where check-in formalities are handled
by our staff.
- Royal
Silk Class passengers may proceed to check-In
counters at Rows A-B for sit-down check-in service.
- Economy Class, and Group passengers
should enter at Entrance 4 and 5, then proceed to the check-in
counters at Rows H-J.
- There are also dedicated check-in
counters for Premium [Economy and Royal Orchid Plus Gold
passengers located at Rows H-J
Q: Where
are the THAI check-in counters for domestic flights ?
A: They are also located on Level 4, and
domestic passengers of all classes should enter Entrance 2
in order to check in at Row C.
Q: What if I am connecting
between international/domestic flights ?
A: Checked-through
passengers flying to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, and Hat
Yai may proceed directly to their departure gates. Non checked-through
passengers flying to those destinations may obtain boarding
passes at the Transit Check-in Desk, Level 2. Passengers flying
to other domestic destinations must check in again at Level
4.
Q: Where
are the lounges, and are Star Alliance members to use them
?
A: All lounges for International Passengers
are located on Level 3.
